Ok this is more than one word but anyways.
Corporate lingo has invaded some of the ways I talk and I’d like to get it out of there. It’s so cringy.
Some examples:
- circle back
- touch base
- solution (as a verb)
What other terms annoy you on a daily basis?

Circle back gets on my nerves at times, but touch base is probably one I use too often.
such a painful turn of phrase, i’m not sure why it has spread so widely
Circle back or touch base? 😂 Circle back always makes me think of the animated movie Bolt where the agent always said “Put a pin in that” because he was self entered and didn’t want to talk about what the other person was asking about. 🤦♀️ 😂 Touch base always puts me in the mind of a baseball player touching base. So, when I over use “I needed to touch base with you about…”, I’m afraid I’m slamming into the baseman. 🤦♀️😆
